Diwali

Diwali (also called Deepavali, “row of lights”) celebrates the victory of light over darkness and good over evil.
Lakshmi and prosperity — Diwali is strongly associated with Goddess Lakshmi, the deity of wealth and prosperity.
Return to inner light — beyond the mythology, the festival carries a spiritual theme of dispelling inner darkness (ignorance) with inner light (knowledge/awareness) — a theme that resonates closely with yogic and Vedantic teaching, which is likely why it often gets woven into ashram and yoga community celebrations.
We will celebrate with meditation, mantra chanting and puja ( spiritual ritual).
