Harmonizing the Body, Mind, and Vital Energy through Ayurveda and Yoga
September 18 - 20 | Weekend retreat
Autumn marks an important transitional period in Ayurveda. With the return of cold weather, wind, movement, and changes in rhythm, Vata energy — associated with air and space — naturally becomes more present in both body and mind. When this energy is out of balance, it may manifest as anxiety, racing thoughts, fatigue, light sleep, irregular digestion, or a general feeling of scatteredness. Modern lifestyles often intensify these imbalances: mental overload, constant stimulation, chronic stress, and lack of rest deeply disturb our nervous system and vital energy. This immersive retreat combines the wisdom of therapeutic yoga and Ayurveda to help you slow down, ground yourself, and restore lasting balance during this seasonal transition. Through physical practices, breathwork, mindful nutrition, and Ayurvedic teachings, you will learn to better understand your constitution, your seasonal imbalances, and the tools needed to support your physical, emotional, and mental vitality.
In autumn, Ayurveda invites us to cultivate:
- stability rather than scatteredness,
- warmth rather than cold,
- gentleness rather than overstimulation,
- rest rather than exhaustion.
The practices offered during the retreat will be specially adapted to the energy of the season:
- slow, grounding, and restorative yoga,
- calming breathing exercises for the nervous system,
- warm and nourishing Ayurvedic meals,
- daily routines that support grounding and recovery,
- self-care rituals to calm Vata and improve sleep quality.
Rooted in yoga therapy, yogic philosophy, and the principles of Ayurveda, this experience will guide you toward a deep reconnection with your natural rhythm, allowing you to move through autumn with greater calm, clarity, and vitality.
