Weekend Yoga Retreat at Mansfield Outdoor Center : May 2nd-4th, 2025; $325

($100 non-refundable deposit)

The retreat is held at the Mansfield Outdoor Centre, near Barrie, 1 1/2 hours north of Toronto, Ontario. Join us to experience the harmony, peace, and balance that yoga brings in a setting that invigorates the body and calms the mind. No previous yoga experience is required. The Center will organize a carpool. Everyone is welcome! The accommodation is at the main Field Center, in rooms with four beds. Below is the option for accommodation with cabins with ensuite bathrooms.

Accommodation (cabins with ensuite bathroom ) can also be booked directly with the Mansfield Outdoor  Center  (please check their website: https://mansfieldoutdoorcentre.ca/accommodation). The fee of $200 for the Yoga Retreat program is paid directly to the Yoga  Center.

During the free time we will  organize outdoor activities depending on the weather and the season. See below for more information about the program of activities.

What to bring: Please bring your own Yoga mat and meditation cushion. Please bring your own towels, pillow and sleeping bag or blankets (linens are not provided). We also recommend: shawl or blanket for meditation, flash light, casual & warm clothes, and shoes/boots for hiking.

Accommodation: Rooms accommodate 4 people. Separate accommodation booking is possible with the Mansfield Outdoor Center(private rooms with adjacent bathrooms). Please inquire at the center (toronto@sivananda.org)

In this retreat, you will have the opportunity to combine yoga and meditation with the practice of mantra chanting and uplifting kirtans from the Bhakti Yoga (devotional) tradition. You will be guided by the enchanting voice and music of Narada, and invited to explore your own voice as a way to express yourself and open your heart. Together with fellow yogis and like-minded souls, you will share a meaningful and joyful experience. We look forward to welcoming you!

TEACHER: Timmy Martin Sarker, also known as Narada, is a Bangladeshi-Canadian vocalist and guitarist whose music blends ancient Sanskrit chants with contemporary rhythms, creating a unique and uplifting kirtan-inspired sound. Influenced by classical Indian music and meditation traditions, his work invites deep relaxation and emotional connection. He has performed across Canada and internationally, including the USA, India, and Colombia. His album Chants of Ecstasy, featuring 12 tracks, has been praised by listeners for its healing and soulful energy.
