Pranayama and Meditation course

 August 4th-September 1st (Fridays, 6.30pm-7.30pm); $75

Enhance your meditation practice by incorporating regular pranayama exercises.

Pranayama consists of specific techniques that help gather your attention, making it easier for the mind to focus. By establishing a strong foundation through pranayama, you create a favourable environment for meditation, making it more accessible and comfortable. As a result, meditative experiences are enriched, as the mind becomes better equipped to manage distractions and maintain focus.

This course welcomes students who possess a basic understanding of pranayama and meditation and are eager to elevate their practice to the next level.

This course is offered in person, at the Yoga Center and online, via Zoom. Online participants will receive a Zoom link two days before the start of the course.

Teacher: Maheswari, an experienced and compassionate instructor, has taught at the Sivananda Yoga Center for over two decades. With her extensive knowledge and expertise, she skillfully guides students through their yoga practice, creating an atmosphere of ease and enjoyment. Maheswari’s teaching style is infused with humour, making the learning experience both light-hearted and engaging. Her profound understanding of yoga shines through as she effortlessly imparts wisdom and guidance to her students.
