Open Class

An Open Class is a classical hatha yoga session that encompasses proper breathing, flexibility, strength and vitality in the body while calming the mind.

An Open Class includes:

Initial relaxation (Savasana)
Breath exercises (Pranayama: Kapalabhati and Anuloma Viloma)
Sun salutation (Surya Namaskar)
12 basic postures (Asanas)
Final relaxation (Savasana)

Duration: 90 minutes. No advance registration. See the class schedule for class times.

Note: The Open Class is not suitable for beginners. We suggest taking a Beginners’ Course before attending an Open Class.

Advanced Class

If you are a seasoned practitioner and want to take on advanced poses, this is the class for you. Poses are held longer and intermediate and advanced variations are also added to challenge both body and mind. As preparation we recommend taking the Beginners Yoga 2 and Intermediate Courses.

Duration: 90 minutes (Fridays) or 2 hours (Saturday and Sunday). No advance registration.

See the class schedule for class times.
