Kids and Teens Yoga
Our yoga classes for kids and teens are comprised of traditional yoga poses and breathing, concentration and relaxation exercises, taught in a fun and engaging manner. Yoga promotes a sense of calm and emotional wellness in children, resulting in a sense of peace and a positive outlook. Aside from the physical benefits, yoga helps children to face in a better attitude their daily issues. Swami Vishnudevananda used to say that if children learn to discipline their mind and body early in the childhood, they would be able to develop love, tolerance, patience and understanding toward all the Creation. With Yoga and his tools, he taught them how to live a healthy, simple and joyful life.
Prenatal Yoga
The months of carrying a child are precious and soon past. You are engaged in the creation of a new life, not merely with your body, but with your emotions, mind and spirit. Yoga postures, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques can help the mind and body adapt to pregnancy, prepare for labor and adjust to life with the new baby.
