Yoga & Anatomy

This course introduces key principles of anatomy for yoga teachers, linking posture, breath, nervous system and subtle energy to safer and more effective asana practice.

This 3-day immersive training invites you to explore the anatomy of the back in a practical, clear, and deeply experiential way. You will learn how the spine truly functions, how imbalances develop, and—most importantly—how yoga can be adapted to support healing rather than cause harm. Far beyond a general yoga class, this program gives you the tools to practice and teach with intelligence, sensitivity, and confidence. You will discover how to adapt postures, build safe and effective sequences, and understand what to do—and what to avoid—when working with back conditions and disc pathology.

Posture and Alignment

Nervous System Awareness
