Nearly 60% of people who consult suffer from lower back pain. In this essential area of the central canal are located the spine, the meninges, the cerebrospinal fluid, the nervous system, as well as the connections with internal organs and the Hara. Together, they support the different levels of human functioning. During this osteothai training, we will pay particular attention to the spine—and more specifically to the lumbar region — in order to promote the mobility of the vertebrae, restore vitality, and restore the body’s fluidity of movement. We will also continue to explore the different qualities of touch, at the heart of the Osteothai practice.
A 5-day internship to explore:
- Osteothai routine for chronic lower back pain: Approach and relaxation of the main muscles involved (psoas, piriform, lumbar square, fascia lata tensor, gluteal muscles) through Thai massage and osteopathic vision.- The different qualities of touch: When and how to use touch Earth, Fire, Water or Air to approach the lumbar region with accuracy and sensitivity.
- The bone structure: sacrum, pelvis and spine: Restore the mobility of the sacroiliac joint and the natural rhythm of the spine thanks to Osteopathic General Treatment.
- The craniosacral system and the central link: A fine and gentle work around C0-C1-C2 and L5-S1, through the fascia and the respiration of tissues. Discovery of the concept of the «pearl necklace», symbol of vertebral harmony
- The work of the Hara: Release the lower back through the abdomen: re-harmonization of the fascia, release of the mesentery and treatment of the kidneys according to the Osteothai approach.
- Acute and chronic pain: Understanding how to adapt your touch, recognize the limits, and act with security and discernment.
