Ayurvedic Abhyanga Massage Course
with Claire Lalonde (Chandra)
This four-day course (34h) will enable you to put the Abhyanga ayurvedic massage technique into practice. It is a massage therapy treatment that aims at the general well-being, both physical and mental. The treatment is usually given with a warm or hot oil taking into account your doshic constitution (the doshas – pitta, vata and kapha – are derived from the Ayurvedic approach). Instructor
Chandra’s journey began with the practice of yoga, and her interest in this discipline led her to train as a yoga teacher in the Sivananda tradition. Yoga became her introduction to Ayurveda, and this age-old science deeply aroused her interest.
She began her apprenticeship in 2007 and went on to deepen her knowledge under the tutelage of Dr. Vishnu at the Sivananda Institute of Health in Kerala, India, as well as Dr. Anita Sharma in Montreal. Since then, Ayurvedic treatments have become her passion, inspiring her to share the benefits and well-being they bring.
