Asanas for Strength and Flexibility
This week of asana practice focuses on specific asanas and asana sequences within the Sivananda practice to help the physical body become stronger and regain flexibility. Each day will have a specific focus for the asanas to help the body become more attuned and supple. It is said muscle length & strength go hand-in-hand, so as we become more flexible the body will also become stronger. Focus on Sun Salutations & Alignment, forward Bending variations, Back bending variations, Inversions & balancing, meditative class – long holding the postures for strength
