Sivananda Holiday Celebration
and Fundraiser for Sun Youth Organization
Sunday, December 20th, 6.00 pm -9.00pm
Join us in our Holiday celebrations with a yoga class followed by a short meditation and concert with Ken Whiteley, one of Canada’s most acclaimed ‘roots’ musicians.
All proceeds from the event are being donated to the Montreal based organization Sun Youth. Sun Youth provides a range of services for individuals and families in need. Your contributions are especially appreciated during these difficult times.
Program
6:00 – 7:15 pm: Yoga Class
7:45 – 9:00 pm: Meditation followed by a concert with Ken Whiteley
Sun Youth works with individuals and families in need from the Greater Montreal area by providing a range of emergency services to ensure basic needs and to preserve people’s integrity, by contributing actively to crime prevention and by promoting the physical, social and intellectual development of people through education, sports and recreation. Ken Whiteley is one of Canada’s most acclaimed ‘roots’ musicians with influences of gospel, blues and folk music. He is a 7-time Juno nominee whose music communicates themes of freedom, love , spiritual aspiration and social commentary. His performances are presented with participatory humor, grace and energy. Ken is also a Sivananda yoga teacher and has been a student with the organization for many years. (https://www.kenwhiteley.com)

Please donate online, any amount, directly to Sun Youth and send the confirmation e-mail you receive from them to [email protected]. We will send you the Zoom link prior to the event on December 20 upon confirmation of your donation.
