Japanese food is renowned for its simplicity and sense of aesthetic. Japanese population is one with the highest life expectancy which research linked with the Japanese diet. There are numerous health benefits associated with traditional Japanese diet that is rich in antioxidant, healthy bacteria and minerals. The food is served in small portions with many dishes. Natural flavours are emphasized and food is minimally processed. This week Nalini, our Japanese yoga center staff and teacher will introduce you to some classics served in Ryokans, Japanese traditional inns: nigiri, goma-ae and nimame.
