One of the best ways to get introduced to our yoga classes and the Yoga Camp is to come for one of our quarterly Open House days. The day starts with a walking tour of the grounds and an explanation of the various buildings and facilities. We then take you for an introductory yoga class where you get a chance to practice some breathing exercises and a few postures, ending with a guided final relaxation. We then serve you a delicious vegetarian meal which is followed by a talk introducing you to our lineage, information on some of the basic principles of yoga practice and how you can make use of the ashram as a day visitor, a guest or a course student. This offers an opportunity for you to ask questions and interact informally with a teacher. The Boutique will also be open where we offer a wide array of books, CDs and items of clothing.

Open House Schedule:
● 11:00 am: Guided tour around the Camp
● 11:30 am: Introductory Yoga class
● 1:00 pm: Vegetarian meal
● 2:00 pm: Talk about yoga and the ashram
● 3:00 pm: End of Visit – Boutique open for those interested
Please arrive 10 minutes in advance. No reservation is necessary.
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing for the class.
We supply yoga mats and cushions. If you wish, you can bring your own.

The Day Pass includes all ashram activities during the day; yoga classes, scheduled vegetarian meals, the daily program (unless otherwise specified) and access to all ashram amenities and Satsangs.
HALF DAY PASS
Price for an Adult: CAD $30.00
Price for Children 12 years old and under: CAD $15.00
The Half Day pass includes either:
- Half Day Morning: The morning yoga class, the Brunch and afternoon program/workshop.
- Half Day Afternoon: The afternoon program/workshop, afternoon yoga class and dinner.
The Beginners Course provide a sound foundation for the basic Sivananda yoga class. Students are taken through the class step-by-step in a small group, with explanations of the postures and breathing exercises which allows for more personal one-to-one corrections. This is open to anyone who is completely new to yoga, new to the Sivananda class, or anyone who would like to go back to the basics. The course is structured over 6 classes, meeting two times a week for three weeks. Advance registration is necessary. Please note that a Beginners Course will start on the Tuesday following each Open House. Please wear loose comfortable clothing. We strongly recommend that you bring your own mat but we do supply cushions, and mats if available.
